Elephant Nature Park, Chiang Mai, Thailand.
{Chiang Mai Part 3}
Happiness. Sorrow. Tears. Smiles.
Vulnerable. Abuse. Knowledge. Kindness. Gratitude.
I don’t know too many other days in my life I have felt so many
different emotions and been so exhausted and fulfilled at the end of the day
because of it. The Elephant Nature Park is Chiang Mai is hands down one of the
most phenomenal experiences a person could have. These animals are truly
magnificent. There is not a word that can describe their beauty or worth.
Many Elephants (the ones you pet, feed, and ride, at road
sides and on tours and treks) are harshly abused and tortured. It’s widely accepted as tourism is such a huge industry. Unfortunately, this, and a history
of logging is absolutely devastating to an elephant.
Our adventure and amazing experience at The Elephant Nature
Park was more than imagined. The Elephants are safe, happy, kept healthy and are
fed in a supportive natural environment.
Not only does the park care for and save many, many elephants, it also
rescued hundreds of dogs from all over Thailand and treats and re – homes them.
The Trainers are paired with one single elephant and dedicate immense time and passion to these animals. |

So incredibly smart, and beautiful. |
Instead of tagging the elephants the elephants workers decide to place flowers on their ear each day to tell them apart. |
